This isn’t just a domed tent in the wilderness. The Lucky Ranch Snow Igloo is the real deal. Located on a horse farm in the Pelkosenniemi region of Finland, the shelter is an actual snow-packed hut that is built new every winter. Inside the icy shell are beds and sleeping bags but it’s recommended that you bring additional thermos layers. If you can’t take the cold, there’s also a house with heat, showers, and a kitchen for guests to use. Adventurers can get their fix at the nearby lake Pyhäjärvi and Pyhä-Luosto National Park while the nights are often ended with a show from the northern lights.
